# Security & Validation

**Basepot is fully on-chain** and transparent.

All core operations are executed through smart contracts on the blockchain. We publicly provide the contract address so anyone can independently verify transactions, balances, and contract interactions directly on-chain.

Nothing is hidden or handled off-chain — every transaction is traceable, auditable, and visible to everyone via the blockchain explorer. This ensures full transparency and trustless operation.

**We also leverage Chainlink for decentralized security and reliability.**

Basepot uses Chainlink’s decentralized infrastructure (such as VRF and/or oracles) to ensure critical processes are verifiable, tamper-proof, and free from manipulation.

By relying on Chainlink’s independent node network, we remove any single point of control and guarantee that key outcomes are generated fairly and transparently on-chain.
